Dear Round Rock Parents and Members,
It is with a heavy heart that we share difficult news with our Austin Badminton Round Rock family.
After extensive discussions and negotiations, our landlord has decided not to renew our lease. As a result, our final day of operations at Austin Badminton Round Rock will be October 30, 2026 (as we begin facility cleanup and handover on October 31st).
All training contracts and memberships will end effective October 30, 2026, and all membership charges will be prorated accordingly through our final day.
A Heartfelt Thank You
This is one of the hardest messages we have ever had to write. Round Rock has been much more than just a facility. Over the years, it has been an absolute privilege to watch your children learn, compete, make lifelong friends, and grow through badminton.
To our adult members—many of you with us from day one—thank you for sharing the courts, the fierce matches, the laughs, and the countless memories that made this community so special. We explored every possible option to keep this location open, but ultimately, the decision was beyond our control. The facility is what brought us together, but the people are what made it home.
Continuing Your Badminton Journey
While our Round Rock facility is closing, Austin Badminton remains strong and fully operational at our Leander and Pflugerville locations.
To make the transition easier for your family, we are offering the following exclusive discounts for the next 3 months at either Leander or Pflugerville:
- Active Members: 50% off membership pricing.
- Training Students: 50% off training fees when you continue your program at Leander or Pflugerville.
Looking Ahead: The Future in Round Rock
We want to be clear: we are not giving up on Round Rock.
We are actively searching for alternative spaces in the area and are working hard to find a new home for our Round Rock community. We hope to have exciting news to share soon.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your trust, encouragement, and loyalty. While this chapter is closing, our relationship with you does not end here. We hope to see you soon in Leander or Pflugerville, and we look forward to the day we can welcome you back to a new Round Rock home.
